Day 1: Moscow

Arrive in Moscow. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Moscow (B)

Our half-day panoramic bus tour of Moscow gives you an overview of the most important sights in the city including: the University of Moscow, the Bolshoi Theater, and the Olympic Stadium. We continue on to the impressive Red Square where you'll see the St. Basil's Cathedral with its vividly painted onion domes, Lenin's Tomb, and the famous department store GUM. During the tour a special visit to the Park of Fallen Idols can be included, where you will see the unique collection of monuments from the Soviet period which were removed from their pedestals during the coup of 1991; monuments to Stalin, the KGB Chairman Dzerzhinsky and many other different sights. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3: Moscow (B)

Check-out from the hotel in the morning. Guided transfer to the train station to catch the train #70 at 13:50 (local time). Take a Trans-Siberian train towards the Asian part of Russia.

Days 4 - 6

You will spend Day 4, Day 5, and Day 6 on the train interacting with other fellow-travelers.

Day 7: Irkutsk/Listvyanka (B)

Arrival in Irkutsk early in the morning and transfer to the local restaurant for breakfast. Car transfer to the village situated only 60km away from Irkutsk - Listvyanka. Enjoy a tour around Listvyanka by car. Guided tour to a local Baikal museum that has a set of aquariums. There is one with the only mammal representative, the Baikal Seal, in it. Take a chair-lift to a nearby view point. There you'll get a chance to take panoramic pictures of Baikal from above. Enjoy your visit to a local 19th century wooden St.Nicolas church and a local fish market where you'll see a great variety of fish. Check-in to a guesthouse. Free time. Overnight.

Day 8: Listvyanka (B)

Free day in Listvyanka.

Day 9: Irkutsk (B)

Breakfast. Check-out from the guesthouse. Transfer to Irkutsk. Check-in to the hotel. Enjoy a 2-hour walking city tour. It starts at the historic part of the city: Epiphany Cathedral, the oldest stone-structure Church of our Saviour and the only Catholic Cathedral in Irkutsk, Polish Roman Catholic Church. The tour leads you through the Kirov Square and circus, taking you to the main street of Irkutsk, the Karl Marks Street. You'll walk along the street to get to the Angara river embankment, where you'll see the monument to Alexander III. Complete the tour with the visit to the district of historic wooden buildings. Overnight in Irkutsk.

Day 10: Irkutsk (B)

Transfer to the train station early in the morning to catch the train #306 at 08:16 (local time). Departure from Irkutsk. You'll spend Day 10 on the train to Ulan-Bator enjoying the scenery along the railroad.

Day 11: Ulan-Bator/Ger camp (LD)

Arrival in Ulan-Bator at 06:50 (local time). Transfer to the Hustain Nuruu (Pike Hustai) National Reserved area to take a look at the Przewalski wild horses reintroduced back into Mongolia. Dinner and overnight in the ger.

Day 12: Ulan-Bator (BL)

Transfer to Ulan-Bator and check-in to the hotel. On the sightseeing tour you'll go to the Gandan monastery-the center of Mongolian Buddhism, and join the monks for the morning prayer. After the monastery we will go to visit the National History Museum, which holds a permanent exhibition on the different civilizations that have inhabited the territory of Mongolia from prehistoric times to the present. We will walk a little in the city center to get to know the life of this modern city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Ulan-Bator (B)

Transfer to the railway station in the morning to catch the train #24 to Beijing at 07:30 (local time).

Day 14: Beijing (D)

Arrival in Beijing at 14:35 (local time). Guided transfer from the railway station to the hotel. City tour. Visit the biggest public square in the world, Tiananmen Square that conquers you with its grandeur at the first sight. Then you are led to Forbidden City. It is the imperial palace for 24 emperors during Ming and Qing Dynasties and the biggest ancient architecture complex in the world. You walk in the museum to see with your eyes, to touch with your hands and fell with your hearts. Dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. Wangfujing Commercial street. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Beijing (B)

Breakfast. Check-out and transfer to the airport.
